Huilende Harp (Crying harp)

In the Tuck Gallery of the Petit Palais, Laurence Aëgerter was thrilled to come across this harp from the late 18th century, some strings of which were missing. She suggested providing new strings, onto which she randomly affixed glass tears. Inside these, she inserted tiny numbers and letters. When put together, they compose the phone numbers, names and addresses of people lost or loved, all lamented by this melancholy harp.
