MEER VREUGDE MET KAMERPLANTEN (artist’s book)

Care is an essential necessity in relation to human well-being – both in receiving and providing it.

Against the background of the isolation cell of the closed department of a psychiatric clinic (Westerpoort, Bennebroek, GGZ inGeest), patients and staff pose indistinctly  in front of the camera with the plant of their choice.

MEER VREUGDE MET KAMERPLANTEN is part of LEVIATHAN, a project initiated by the Dolhuys Museum, national museum of psychiatry and the mind, Haarlem.
